    Brooklyn, NY February 2nd, 2011
Brooklyn Bodega, producers of the 7th Annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival (BHF) are happy to announce the launch of this year’s “Show & Prove” competition/series. Exclusively through Sonicbids, Show & Prove is Brooklyn Bodega’s premiere underground Hip-Hop concert series where up-and-coming Hip-Hop acts vie for the chance to perform on NYC’s largest stage, The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival.

“We are excited to announce the third season of our Show & Prove series. This competition is especially close to my heart as this event literally pulls MCs up by their boot straps and provides a stage for them to shine based on their skills and ability to rock a crowd. Over the past three years we have supported and helped introduce more than fifty artists. Thanks to our partners at Sonicbids we will have a more streamlined process for not only ‘Show & Prove’ but the Main Stage performances. The Show & Prove Superbowl is just the first day of our amazing 2011 programming which will include an expanded Bodega Education Initiative, Salute the DJ and more.”
    - Wes Jackson, Executive Director, The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival
